Year of birth: 1973 Place of birth: Stockholm The industrial expression that can be found in most of my work has its roots in the fascination for the machine. It’s not so much what the machine can do or what it is for but rather my awe of the complexity of the machine itself and the different parts it’s made of. Functionality is the sole purpose of these engineered parts and there isn’t any aesthetic aspect to the way these things have been designed. This involuntary beauty is one part of what I find so fascinating but also the untold story that these magnificent objects carry. Imagineering is an expression which beautifully describes the process of using these items in order to tell a story or express emotions.
