Recently my work has been about places and events I have experienced myself and that have been of great importance to my way of seeing the world about me and my everyday life. As an artist I have also processed and recycled existing material that I’ve come across during my work. I often use chance as a tool, and am constantly fascinated by various pictorial materials’ ability – or inability – to convey feelings and courses of events. Playing with illusion and reality is a constantly recurring theme in my work. |
