Every way has its poetic qualities – its advantages and disadvantages. Using painting as a medium I want to get at what is specific to painting in particular. I want painting to talk about and around itself. Repeat the same sentence but bend it a bit each time. Twist it a little and look at it from another direction. Let time and space get in so as to create parallel sentences. Let the sentences cross each other. Remove and add and start again ... it’s what it is.
