Flux Structures

I seek equilibrium, a sense of harmony between the varied relationships in my projects. Yet equilibrium is always surrounded by chaos, and both are local phenomenons in motion. This motion or flux of forces and relationships can be used as a design method known as flux structures.

To me, these structures can include aesthetics, technique, time, economy, politics, geology, history and so on. My objective when studying flux structures is primarily to understand and develop their theories, and then use them to combine sensibility (aesthetics) with rationality (technique, mechanics) and seek equilibrium.
